Peacock Ore

Peacock ore is a Bornite, which is a sulfide mineral with chemical composition of Cu5FeS4. This mineral infused metal is excellent for grounding the energy of space and carrying a small piece of it may help in the recovery of a blood disorder or ease some of the side effects of chemotherapy. It has a brown to copper-red color on fresh surfaces that tarnishes to various iridescent shades of blue to purple. Its striking iridescence gives it the nickname Peacock Ore. This is a naturally occurring material but sometimes people will intentionally tarnish Peacock Ore to give it the color.
