It is a stone of compassion. It has a friendly energy and is excellent for healing. It assists in rebirth and renewal of all kinds. It can lessen stress in relationships, anger and jealousy. It also assists in finding what is lost, and strengthens ESP abilities.
Deep feeling and seeking to understand are strong markers of a peridot person. Organization and the feeling of progress are important factors as well. Their Perceptions and intuitions are usually “right on” but, the outcomes…. They struggle with time and process.
Deep feeling is almost an understatement in the case of a Peridot personality. They live within spirit and emotion, are easily touched by the kindness and warmth around them, and very put off by bullies. Their early relationships are marked with turmoil because they need to be needed and bullies need emotional support more than anyone (that is why they bullies act out).
If a peridot doesn’t understand or if they can not make sense of it, they are almost stuck in their tracks. Once they get it or if they do understand it they can handle it, do it, make it, be it like no one else can but, they will not budge till they do.
A peridot will organize it… you can teach them a method of organizing it or you can let them do it… Be warned… If they figure it out themselves, it will be a puzzle for everyone else.
You will probably have to pull their insights out of them because Peridot people love to live in their own head but it is well worth the effort of pulling out their guesses or intuitions. It is worth it because they are scary right almost always.
The downside is they are very impatient and are always demanding to know why we are not there yet.
Peridot is a gem quality version of silica called Olivine. It falls within the stone formation family of fosterite. It is one of the few gems that occur in only one color Green, Sometimes it is a very pale green to a dirty or brownish green but only in a variant of green. It’s primary scientific formula is (Mg, Fe)2SiO4 (magnesium, some iron, silica and oxygen) but, we have discovered trace elements of nickel and chromium.

The Magnesium and Iron combination seem to give women a boost and mellow men from the physical perspective. The Chromium and magnesium is probably responsible for the increase in concentration and “finding the zone” intellectually. It probably companion well with quartz to uplift someone spiritually, And if someone was robotic emotionally, could help them find some deeper aspects of themselves.
